The new RiverStone Display Home is taking shape on a snug corner block of the upmarket Minim Cove Estate in picturesque Mosman Park…
Not only will custom home builder RiverStone’s newest display home, scheduled for opening in by years end, raise the bar in terms of finishing and design but it will be a market leader in the use of double glazed windows for a residential property.
More than 200 sqm of double glazed glass will be used to stunning effect in the two-storey (plus substantial undercroft) home at 58 Mathieson Ave. The glass will cut noise to a minimum and help lift the home to a 6-star energy rating.
Another standout feature will be an all-glass lift, linking the undercroft to the ground and first floors.
The home covers around 580sqm (including balconies and undercroft) but, much like Dr Who’s amazing TARDIS, the property’s design gives you a vastly bigger sense of space once inside.
Soaring ceilings (36 course), plus a central private courtyard (and all that glass) will combine to create a dazzling light-filled living environment.
The ground floor, accessed via a stunning entry foyer, will have two bedrooms, a guest bedroom, study, entertainment room and laundry facilities while upstairs contains the master bedroom, with spa ensuite, and the focal point of the home.
Add a state of the art kitchen, with adjacent scullery,, dining room, large alfresco area overlooking the courtyard, and massive living room making the most of the river views and you’ll have a striking new addition in custom builder RiverStone’s already impressive portfolio.
Indeed, many of the new display home’s Mathieson Ave neighbours are other, diverse, examples of RiverStone’s design and construction expertise in the luxury homes market.
Several other features in the new property will also add “wow factor” with a capital W – a climate controlled walk-in wine cellar and cutting-edge technology installed in the first floor entertainment/home theatre room.
A full dressing room upstairs, rather than the traditional walk-in robes, is another classy touch, as are the spotted gum lined eaves on the exterior.
As for what exactly will be in the RiverStone display home entertainment room, for now director Paul Marshall is playing his cards close to his chest.
But the room’s ceiling promises to be something spectacular…
